The Small Sided Referee Clinic offers the basics of refereeing and is offered to individuals who are at least 12 years old at the time of the course. Once an individual is successful in passing this clinic, they are classified as a Small Sided Referee and may officiate in any match with players between U-6 and U-12.

The Entry Level Referee Clinic is the entry point into 11 a-side soccer. Once an individual is successful in passing this three day clinic they will be classified as a Youth Referee (if they are 14 or 15 years old) or a District Referee  (if they are 16 years old or older).

To find when a clinic is offered in our area go to BC Soccer’s website:

Note: Often Sooke and Peninsula offer a Small Sided Referee Clinic in the fall of each season and it fills up quickly so be sure to keep an eye out for this year’s clinic offerings.
