In April of 2012 Lower Island Soccer Association made a commitment to mandate coach certification in the LISA district by the summer of 2015 and the start of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada.

“The support of the club Presidents to increase fees in order to pay for coach certification shows that the clubs and the district are invested in the development of the game, and improving the level of coaching for all players across our district” commented LISA head coach Andrew Latham.
