The Lower Island Soccer Association is pleased to announce the formation of a coaches association for soccer coaches in the Lower Island district.

The Lower Island Soccer Coaches Association (LISCA) aims to provide support to coaches through regular coaching clinics, coaches meetings and on line support through the Scouting Solutions website www.scoutingsolutions.com

Membership is free to anyone who coaches youth or senior soccer. There is no cost to join LISCA, simply send an email to the LISA head coach Andrew Latham, and you will receive a free membership to the Scouting Solutions website and receive regular information about future LISCA events.

For those of you who missed our last coaches meeting here is a link to some video of the passing test http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziKlTCBMNm0

Our next session will be in June and the topic will be basic dribbling and turns. As soon as I have a date and venue for this session I will get the information to you all.

My latest blog is about my thoughts on U10 and U12 soccer, I would be interested to get some feedback from those of you involved in these age groups.
