This Sunday, September 15th, the three Lower Island member associations (VISL, LIWSA, and LISA), in conjunction with United Football, are hosting an Opening Weekend Showcase! Royal Athletic Park will play host to a premier match-up from each of the association leagues. The LIWSA will kickoff the day with a Premier Women’s match-up between Saanich Fusion and Lakehill FC. The youth showcase match-up will be the BCSPL U14 Girls VI Wave hosting Fusion FC from Vancouver at 12:30pm. The final game of the day sees last years Jackson Cup winners Westcastle FC hosting the Division 1 winners Cowichan FC at 2:30pm.
