Congratulations to the U14 VI Wave Girls who were presented with this year’s Frank Leversedge Memorial Award at the World Cups Festival over the Easter weekend! The Frank Leversedge Award is presented to a team or individuals from the local soccer community promoting opportunities for the development and education of youth soccer players, both on and off the field. Whether it’s running a concession or refereeing multiple games at one of LISA’s mini-festivals this group of girls can always be counted on to lend a helping hand and are fully deserving of this award! Currently in a heated battle for a top four finish and home field advantage in the BCSPL Premier Cup play-downs the girls also have an eye on a summer trip to San Sebastion, Spain for the Donosti Cup. On top of their Frank Leversedge Award LISA is proud to name the U14 Wave Girls Footballers of the Week!
