German defender Hendrik Starostzik officially joined Pacific FC in March and wasted no time introducing himself to Pacific’s fan base after recording the club’s first-ever goal in front of a sold-out crowd at Westhills Stadium on April 28th. Starostzik followed up his goal with a solid defensive performance, which played a critical role in his team earning a 1-0 clean sheet win.
The 27-year-old has played professionally in Germany since 2010, including a stint with Dynamo Dresden (2016-17) in 2. Bundesliga, Germany’s second division. The 6-foot-2 centre back arrived from Hallescher FC of 3. Liga, where he made 15 appearances.
Congratulations on being named Footballer of the Week.
