The u15 girls have had a great 2017 season! After winning the league they went onto win the league cup trophy and then got straight on a plane to test themselves against some new competition. For the American Thanksgiving they ventured down to San Diego for the November Nights Elite College Showcase and did not disappoint their fans (or the college coaches)!
The weather was quite opposite to the rainy Victoria weather but their play was identical. They went 3-0 topping the group with 11 goals for and just 2 against. Their group contained teams from northern and southern California with the best game left until the final day. The Wave won it 1-0 giving them a most enjoyable trip home.
Many many thanks go to the volunteer managers Sandy and Amanda that put in hours of work to make this trip a success for all.
