Metro fees for 2010/2011 Season – $1,720.00 (not including kit).
This may be paid in full or in 7 payments from September – March (inclusive) $246.00 x 6 payments and $244.00 x 1 payment. Please note that due to changes in banking practices, the bank will no longer accept cheques made payable to LISA or even L.I.S.A. They will only accept cheques made payable to “Lower Island Soccer Association”.
This price reflects a 7-1/2% increase over last year. 5% to cover the HST, and 2-1/2% increase in overall operating costs, including increases in ferry fares and bus transportation, etc.
If you have paid the $150.00 assessment fee, please deduct $125.00 off your Metro fees. $1720.00 – $125.00 = $1595.00 total fees. This may be broken down into 7 payments of 228.00 per month from September through March.

Darren Jones called up to the U20 Canadian National team.
Joining the LISA Selects in season 2004 until his graduating year in 2009 Darren was outstanding in the midfield. He joins other LISA Select alumi Adam Straith and Josh Simpson in donning the Maple Leaf.

Patrick Bennett accepts position with the Vancouver Whitecaps residency programme.
As a centre back for last season’s BU17 metro team, Patrick impressed the Whitecaps so much they have offered him a place in their residency programme. Crediting great coaching and training by his first metro coach Dave Ravenhill and U17 coach Mike Pawlak Patrick is looking forward to starting the next stage of his soccer career.
